The color and light of a day in the Tetons, captured in a piece of gear you reach for every run. Artist and outdoor enthusiast Sydni Day brings her mountain perspective to The Grand, turning replacement ski pole straps into a small canvas for a landscape that stays with you.
A math teacher by trade and a mountain wanderer at heart, Sydni draws inspiration from time spent outside. For our small, craft-focused Montana brand, this collaboration brings together independent art and practical ski gear, with a little of the Tetons along for the ride.
An ongoing artist partnership
Sydni receives a share of every sale featuring her design, so your purchase supports her ongoing work as an independent artist. It’s an ongoing relationship with the person behind the artwork, not just a pattern on a strap. Discover more of her work on Instagram at @drawn.outside.
Crafted for days on snow
These straps keep their shape to make slipping your hands in easier with gloves or mittens. Their distinctive artwork also helps you pick out your poles in a crowded rack when it’s time to head back out after a hot chocolate or lunch break.
Built to be beautiful and hard-wearing, The Grand brings mountain-inspired character to everything from early-season groomers to spring slush laps.
Check your pole grips before ordering
These are replacement straps for many standard alpine ski pole grips, not a universal fit. Compare your existing strap attachment with these measurements:
- Insertion section: ½ inch wide, the section that slides into the grip.
- Grommet opening: 3/16 inch, designed to accept your existing grip screw or pin.
They are suitable replacements for many, but not all, Scott, Rossignol, K2, Kerma, Jski, Grass Sticks, and Komperdell poles. Compatibility depends on the grip and attachment, not just the brand. Follow the step-by-step strap replacement instructions on our site when installing.
